I started off just right—2 sci and 4 cols. I colonized the two planets on either side of Home World and then used their ag to trick while colonizing the outer two planets. This gave me an early econ lead, 10-4 when we finally met a few rounds later. Freezer must have been doing a modified trick because his econ did quickly jump up to 8. But it was too late by that time. I was able to build closer to the front than him and just kept pushing him back. He did close the gates to his upper three planets, but by that time it was just delaying the inevitable.
